MONTEGO 1.3 & 1.6
The Economy cars that put the driver first

Once inside you'll find it hard to believe that these are the price-leaders of the Montego range.

Electronic engine management plus smooth transmission give your pocket a sporting chance at the petrol pumps, especially with the optional 5-speed gearbox.

The superb paint-finish, stylish body colour bumpers, and generous glass area make this car a pleasure to be seen in.

See and be seen

The 84% all-round visibility is supplemented by driver and passenger door mirrors. The styled, halogen headlamps give excellent day and night time illumination. And attractive rear light clusters feature in-built fog lamps.

Value for money

Many useful extras that make life easier are included as standard on the 1.3 and 1.6. Extras such as the garage security system, lockable fuel filler flap, heated rear window, boot and bonnet that can be easily released from the drivers seat and two-band push-button radio.

And a great deal more

The colour co-ordinated fascia holds a reflection-free instrument display. A trip mileage recorde, essential for the business traveller, is standard. Major functions are taken care of in a simple manner by the new style internally illuminated column stalk controls. Heater controls and switchgear are also fully illuminated at night for your convenience. In the back seat, passengers are cossetted with separately ducted rear-compartment heating.

Another nice touch are the height-adjustable 'A-frame' head restraints on the reclining front seats. With these levels of comfort and equipment it is clear that the Montego 1.3 and 1.6 break new ground in driving pleasure.
