IT'S TOUGH AT THE TOP

The most opulent executive saloon in the Montego range lives up to its famous name with a blend of hand-crafted luxury and powerful performance which defy comparison.

The bright-finished bonnet moulding, door mirrors and tailpipe, and the VP monogram in coachline and wheels announce the distinguished Vanden Plas pedigree. A slide and tilt screened glass sunroof is amongst the many refinements, together with electrically operated and heated door mirrors, and headlamp power wash. Two-tone paint finish is also available. Alloy road wheels and 185/65 tyres accompany the scintilating performance of the 2.0 fuel-injected O-Series engine.

Inside, Vanden Plass luxury is breathtaking. Leather seat facings create the rarified atmosphere of the Montego's executive flagship. Traditional craftmanship glows in the polished wood door inserts, whilst today's technology provides a superb 3-band electronic stereo radio/stereo cassette player with a convenient auto reverse facility.

The Vanden Plas cossets its passengers with luxurious shag pile rugs; those in the back receive special treatment, with a rear cigar lighter, rear door operated courtesy lights and seat back map pockets. The Vanden Plas driver lacks for nothing either, with power-assisted steering special ease of manouevring at low speeds, yet providing responsive feedback during motorway cruising. Central door locking and electric front and rear windows are two more of the many Vanden Plas luxuries, whilst you can choose black or clearcoat metallic paint, electrically operated sunroof and automatic transmission as extra-cost options.
