One of our long-term projects is to compile a comprehensive library of clear, detailed, high quality colour photographs of each Maestro and Montego model - or at least as broad a range as possible. The time to do this is now. Already certain models have become extremely rare with no more than a handful thought to exist. Building up a reference source will, among other things, give us something more than sales brochures and press photographs to refer to in the future.
With potentially more than seventy different models to photograph we're always looking for subjects. As a representative of its type, your car would need to be of presentable appearence (perfection isn't required, but faded paint and rusty rear arches won't look good), clean and as close to its original specification as possible. If you would like to help, we'd be interested to hear from you.
We can either arrange to photograph your car for you at a show or other club meeting, or you can take the photographs yourself. Because of the nature of the project photographs need to be of a high standard, ideally the sort of thing that wouldn't look out of place in a sales brochure. You might find our photographic guidelines helpful.
The archive is now web based and full access is available to current members.
