Default Any events up north?

Hello,

Are there any meets or events for Maestros coming up soon in the northern area, preferably around Newcastle. I have just purchased a beautiful new Maestro 1.6 L and would love to show it off somewhere!!!

Certainly will be! See the M Car Rally threads on this forum.

Anyone got any ideas for the next Northern Rally then?

PS: It will be GGT attending this year.

A meeting in Newcastle would be reet canny - I am up there all the time as my girlfriend's a Geordie who works there and as I work in London I have to commute to see her at the weekends. Off up there tonight, as it happens, but sadly not in the Maestro. Entrusting myself to GNER tonight. May gan oot on the toon thenight, mebbe te the Bigg Market.

Let's kick some ideas around... the M-Car Rally was fairly-central for the people who attended, so if people want to travel from the North West and the North East then how's about a drive out in the Yorkshire Dales? Or the Lake District (we could visit The Car's The Star Museum in Keswick, I've always fancied going)?

If people register an interest, say where they are based for the purposes of this exercise (town/city, eg Newcastle, Manchester) and where they fancy going, I'm sure we could thrash out some good ideas for another "grand day out".

Just ideas at the moment, mind, and I think the Committee would need to be involved if the Meet was much bigger than the M-Car Rally...

Well, I've been to Hatton country world outside Coventry and Billing Aquadrome outside Northampton, so either would suit me!
