  • Weight + 0-60 times of motorsport Maestros

Anyone know what sort of weight & 0-60 time a motorsport-prepared Maestro would do, plse?

I have a rally MG Maestro 1600 which is stripped out (hollow doors, no trim, plastic windows etc), but the cage, fire extinguisher sump guard etc. will all add to its weight:

From memory i remember team 78 did about 4.5 secs 0-60 at the start of a race at Combe once.

That's a little different to yours though...

There is a 1/4 mile calculator online that works it out if you puntch your details in. Obviously you take it with a pintch of salt. But it predicted my old zs to do a 13.9 with a 0-60 in 5.7 and it ended up doing a 13.7.....so it's quite accurate I'd say

I'll tell you after the rally next week. Mine has a close ratio 4 speed box and a quaife diff though but it may give you an idea

It may have been quicker than that? Like any car with that power though I bet 60+ was more impressive!

Just put my figures for 495 in...quite shocked with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile.
            4.6 and 12.79secs.....

Gives me something to aim for...hahaha

Problem is with that calculator, there is no button to click for the "is your car shaped like a brick"

              What are your figures btw?

Mine weighs 1160kgs and has 280bhp
