BL/BMC Day
AGGGGHHHH!!!
As today is the last day to book for 1st August, i don't know if i've been granted my lieu day, enabling me to come. I've already escaped working 2 Bank holidays, i think my luck has run out! I won't know for definate until a week or so before, by then it'll be too late.
Was looking forward to coming and showing off my new toy!!!!
Ah well, such is life.
Still might come along though, albeit not having my car on show.
Cheers,
Dean

There's no cut-off date for booking for the event. July 1st is only the last day for guaranteeing a plaque. I've seen plenty of people turn up and book in on the day.

On those grounds you'll never be able to attend another BL Rally again because it'll always be held on the first weekend of August.

Indeed, this is a worrying development!
Simon: you're just going to have to bring your lady with you to the show, surely if she married you, she knows what to expect?!
I must say, getting married on this weekend was *very* lax of you indeed.....

Well I got married on the 1st August last year which was a Friday. Because it is a leap year this year the 1st falls on a Sunday. How about if I take her out on the Fri and the Sat, leaving Sunday clear?
I'll ask her, see what she says and then use the dustbin lid as a means of defence! We'll see...

Sounds like a plan. I wouldnt let my fiance let me miss out on a day like MG SD, in fact, she is quite looking forward to it!

I'd like to try and bring Time Warp Maestie. Very much doubt she'll be taxed and mot'd by then so I will bring her on a trailor if I can. Would be good to let her out of the garage (the sort of surroundings it is used to! )
Do I need to book to go? Sorry, I must have missed the original instructions...

Would be good to go in the convoy, but if I end up towing with the Range Rover, it might look a bit odd!
Hopefully my Countryman will be fit and well by then as long as the boiling over coolant is not a major problem.
Will be nice to let the Maestro out of its slumber for its first proper outing in 17 years.
