Default Relays in passenger door of mk. 1 VP

I was just wondering what the two relays, mounted in the speaker orifice on the passenger's door of my mk. 1 vp do? They are about to be moved else where but I can't work out what they do!

I'm sure someone will know...

one is there to wind the window down ,the other one winds the window back up again
when you use the window switch, it powers the relays, one up and one down

Ingenious, thanks Tony.

And thanks also for the tip about how to get the lady speaking while the stereo was removed. I've decided to upgrade A335's ICE by wiring in two sets of front speakers, one for the stereo and one for the lady. By shorting a few connectors under the centre console (where there used to be a balance switch) it's been very easy to get her to speak through both front dash speakers. I'm contemplating just rewiring the wiring that attaches to the balance control so that I can chose whether or not she speaks through the L or R or both speakers....
