A very interesting update, & presumably a major change of heart. Perhaps the owner saw the lovely cars on the stand & realised what possibly could be done to his.
This could be quite a story. Shame it couldn't have been in the Summer with the weather etc.

Not a change of heart Andy
Will keep all updated when I've visited, possibly next week with luck

Visited David Saturday and a very interesting day
He also has, and for sale
                    These

In his garage and not for sale is a complete montego shell and a montego DSLX in blue being restored. In the rear of the garage is a burnt out A reg MG Montego EFi with digidash shell

Needless to say David is a montego nut

Getting interesting already, so he isn't simply someone who just dumps cars in a field for posterity but an enthusiast. Wonder what happened re the A Reg EFi & why it was kept etc?

The A reg got vandalised in his garage years ago but he didn't want to get rid from the sound of it

What a shame as that would have been probably the oldest EFi left I suspect & fairly rare even 30 years ago to see an A reg MG!!. There really are some nice people around!!

David did tell me there's an A reg MG Montego EFi that goes to the Beverley classic car show.
I didn't know any still existed let alone roadworthy
If it's not raining i'm back up the graveyard tomorrow at some point

Although in reality I bet there's actually slightly less of most of them! Bit of a shame.
