Saving up for a toy

Hello people, Im currently saving as much money as I can as I really want a new car(old car).

Early next year I will have £4000+ saved up and I have been looking at various different cars.

My list is as follows:-

Original Mini- Finding a good one for said budget is getting quite difficult.

Mitsubishi Lancer evolution 4- The insurance on these are horrendous.

Rover 800 vitesse- I can pick a nice one up for less than half the budget.

Rover p6- would love another one.

Then last but not least an Mg Montego turbo.

Im really hoping that one in good shape will turn up in my budget as I really do miss my old green one(even though when I bought it,it was rotten)

I currently have an engine which I will be splitting down and hopefully rebuilding.

Theres something about the Montegos that I cannot keep away from.
I personally think they look great.

I hope that I havnt bored you lot but hopefully I will find a Montego as thats my first choice

Good luck with the search and saving. The only problem with looking too soon is watching the perfect motor go to someone else. Then again, looking too late you could miss out on the bargain of the century!

If you're interested in a 1980 mini 850cc Super-Deluxe ours may be for same in the near future! It'll be a lot less than 4K too.
