  • Vandan Plas Advantage anyone?

Had Lindz's car out for a wash today and I could resist fitting these. Ok I know they aren't original but I have to admit that they are growing on me!

Dan: that looks rediculous. Take them off immediately if not sooner!

How dare you deface a beautiful car with oodles of chrome trim by putting white alloys on it?!

They match beautifuly with the Red paintwork - it looks very much like an Advantage. Not sure they go with the Chrome though...

Having seen it in the flesh, the over all effect is very good!

              Rich: that's the point! It's not an advantage it's a VP, i.e. a Maestro 1.6 with *chrome*!

Now that's how to do alloys on a VP!

Looks great with the white wheels and it does work realy well with the chrome. Why not try painting the wheels with that super duper halfrauds chrome paint on a hot day. itll either look the nuts or it could be a bit overkill.

                      no,no

I can remember seeing the Vp in this guise at MGM, and in the flesh the wheels don't suit.
VP's should carry grade one listed status, and as such should not be chaved

My VP doesn't hold that status in my eyes, especially after its recent performances...

Angina, however... welding and respray on their way...

And I agree, white alloys with chrome trim

Its ok, those wheels were only temporary whilst I refurbished the wheel trims and got 4 new tyres put onto the original rims. Well I could exactly have it stood on bricks could I. Thanks to a crappy courier company the tyres were late arriving so it went to MGSD and Bromley wearing its alloys. I have to admit I quite like the creamy white and the metallic read but then I am colourblind so what do I know! I think I posted some pics up of the refurbished wheel trims along with the new VP logos too.
