  • Alloy radiator question

Anybody able to tell me if the alloy radtec radiator for the maestro would be up to the job of cooling a T16 Turbo on track?

    Thanks
    Ben

mines all alloy rad not a radtec one, its triple core high flow from ford rs works a treat in my T16 if anything works too good !

I bought a radtec radiator for my Dads turbo. Took a few weeks to be made as they dont have maestro rads on the shelf. Yet to be fitted and run though

Oh and Ben, I hope this means there will be another maestro coming to knockhill soon?

It sure will, the Gooon to be precise My last meastro kind off bit the dust spectacularly at knock hill a couple years ago and I've just never got round to building this one up.

Ah brilliant. Yeah I saw the pictures. Looked a mess. Good to hear the gooon lives on, I thought you snapped that up.

Has the Gooon still got its T16 engine in?

I didn't think I'd put pictures of it up afterwords.

No, but I just bought a doner car for the engine 2 weeks ago because I want to get on with the maestro. Engine is standard just now but I'll forge it before it goes into the car.

I think the pictures were taken by a spectator and put online. It was sitting in the gravel car park by the bridge from memory.

Ah right, that sounds about right. I also have 2 pictures taken by somebody of it actually rolling.
