Sunroof has been sealed up with mastic? If he removes the headliner he can find any leak. All seals leak even when new but drip into the tray so maybe that's his issue or the drains are blocked...

After a few additional fixes from me the owner loved driving it and showing it. As he's now bought a porsche boxster he's now sold this and his mgtf. I bought the tf and the turbo has now found it's way to north Yorkshire to a guy who has over 70 cars in his collection. You may see it about next year...

If you put the switch to the up position while the window is going down it'll stop. The relay is not needed for an mot but you asked ....

That's the dim dip relay. Small yellow is the light relay. Front windows are only one shot down and not up. That changed due to safety issues from earlier models. Do you want the orange dim dip as well?...

Timer relay is blue. To remove the hrw switch you just need to remove the binnacle, two top screws then pull out...

The rear fog lamp could be due to the connections in the cluster. Might a clean with an emery cloth and a small adjustment. The switches they maybe faulty try using electric contact cleaner and keep switching on off. Remove the switches first though and let the cleaner dry before re-attaching...

Just test with a multi meter, switch on and you should have power

Edit that, I do have one back plate left, surface rust on it but very solid.
