Will a metro steering wheel fit a maestro?
The Mg leather wheel from the donor turbo is very worn and i am looking for a replacement. Just wondored if any other Rover wheel would fit. IE Metro or MGF wheel?

I know for sure a Metro/Mini one will, not sure about MGF.

Cheers Oli, will keep a look out for a good metro maestro or montego leather MG wheel then.

These are pleasent to use on a Maestro, and look good too IMO:

My father's MG EFi has an MG Metro wheel on it (as it was the only one I found closely matching the worn original). I also used the wheel of a Rover Metro on my Maestro when I restored the colour on my leather rim.

Ive got an Mk2 MG metro one on my EFi ,it looks almost the same as the EFi one but its an inch or so smaller making it nicer to drive. Years ago I had a MK1 metro turbo one on my maestro turbo, lovely to drive but it did look a bit odd.

It's worth bearing in mind that Mini steering wheels will also fit - this opens the doors to tons of aftermarket wheels where you get a Mini steering boss, then put an aftermarket wheel on with the 6 bolts.
I have one similar to this: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p5004/14-3-***-S/D-(B)-LEATH-BLACK/product_info.html
Mounted with one of these: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p7197/MAESTRO-(MB008)/product_info.html
Although I didn't buy mine from Merlin.

I hope not! Overpriced. Mountney 'older' style leather rims can be picked up new at shows for at least 20 quid less than that. Plenty on ebay too.
And for a boss look for the older style, much nicer imo than these gaudy plastic concertina type. Any boss for old Mini, MG, Marina etc will fit.
Bet you could pick a nice one up this Sunday at Stoneleigh Restoration Show.

I think I may have actually got mine from a show too. I think it cost me £15, but I couldn't swear to that.
