I've stripped out the wiring, switches and motors from the 1986 Mk. 1.5 HLS that I'm breaking as these parts are on their way to another club member.
What puzzles me slightly is that I expected to find two relays in the passenger door, in the speaker apperture but they were not there! I'v seen them in all the Mk. 1 cars I've ever taken apart...
Were they relocated elsewhere in later cars ?
