Careful searching among the many stalls can find MM stuff
at bargain prices - many of these 'sellers' still in the mindset
that MM parts are worthless ;)

Can the club get discounts on entry?
it's aimed at classic car people, what is so special about us that might warrant a discount?

Maestro and Montego owners...

they might take pity on us

Personally I think entrance fee is a bit steep, not that long ago it was £6.
Others I speak to at this show feel the same, but 'usually' there is something to buy bargainwise that compensates. Be interesting to see how busy it is this year with creditcrunch in full swing. I reckon it will be just as busy as ever.

Was it busy? Oh dear, I queued in car for half an hour and then what seemed an age in the standing queue - only 2 money takers so they weren't expecting so many.

Punters were spending too. No sign of credit crunch whatsoever.
Got myself 4 metres of plush headlining for just 11 quid! plus loads of other bargains. Yep, really worth it. Got all my brake pipe fittings (more than I need with 50 male and female for £8;) and another 25ft roll copper pipe just 6 quid)

Spotted several MM bits that I didn't buy, cos didn't need.
Lower ball joint, new £1.50, and anothr at 3 quid.
Brake m/c, not branded £20, 1.6 rad £10. AND plenty Metro stuff about.

Wondering now whether to go to Shepton Mallet show this Sat 1st. Probably if weather is fine.
