HELP,

I am fed up of my MG Monty going where the road takes it.

I know that I have cheap tyres (Marshals)but so do all my other cars with no ill-effects.

I have dropped the tyre pressures to 26 front & 28 read and this has improved matters.

What can I do to make this car safer apart from scrapping it.

All steering parts are good.

Try checking for play in the front suspension lower arm inner rubber joints, if there is play here it makes driving, especially cornering, a *very* interesting experience, certainly at high speeds.
