hi
im new here
i'll never hear a bad word said against a montego. we drove an H plate gti 4500 miles to banjul in the gambia, including crossing the western sahara. header tank split a few times, electric window switches clogged, sump and sump guard flattened, no rear shox left but we made it.what a beaut.there were 3 other montegos in our group and they all made it, including stefs minger which he paid a tenner for!
if any of you have 3 weeks spare at the end of this year go for it.completely mental..plymouth dakar challenge
all the best,
james

WELL DONE!! I've been following the various Montys' progress on the site, and I'm so pleased you all made it!

It's a shame you couldn't bring one back - it would have a well-deserved place on any show stand of ours!

Could we badger you for a writeup and/or pictures for the site, by any chance?
