maestro turbo back in business ish!!

thanks to all for help the beast is back on the road, untill went to start it this morning , turn the key all the dash light and nothing. so jumped in my truck and went to work. Got home and tried the maestro again , still the same .When i turn the key dash lights come on loads of power but no fuel pump noise, then when in pos 3 on the key (starting) nothing from the engine but the fuel pump is wizzin away the oil light on dash goes out and so does the stereo!!! but no start. then when the key is let go the fuel pump stops stereo comes back on and so does the oil light??? can it be an imobilizer problem or what

My first guess is the starter motor has jammed, can you hear the solonoid?

not yet it was p******g down when i got back but the fuel pump on/off dont sound right to me??????:confused:

I would guess that you have a volt drop on a main earth cable or possibley the main positive feed from the battery to the fuse box. Differcult to say without looking at the car
