hi
its me again rebuilt carb inc needles/springs etc checked ignition valve, crank sensor, replaced fuel pump change carb pipe etc etc etc etc and its still dieing when in boost what ever can i try next except slitting my throat i am at the end of my tether can anyone help, thanks for all the ideas before ive tried them all now tottally fed up.

Did you replace the carb balance pipe as suggested? I see you haven't mentioned it above.

The pick up pipe in the tank is not blocked?

as above try the pipe thats on the carb the balance pipe i had same trouble with mine.

Have you plumbed in a vacuum gauge to see what is happening when it is on idle and on boost? If you have a leak somewhere it will be exacerbated when on boost. Start with the inlet/exhaust manifold, then the carb gaskets, carb seals. If you have good vacuum then move onto fuel and electrics. But if you have poor vacuum it will never run on boost.

Have you by any chance renewed the plenum chamber to carb gasket? The gasket is the same shape as a normal NASP carb to plenum gasket, but the Turbo gasket has extra holes, and one of those is for the drilling to the float chamber that allows boost pressure into the float chamber. If this drilling is blocked off the engine will die as soon as the turbo comes on boost.
