Alloys were an option on early MG Maestros - the standard was steel wheels painted red with silver plastic wheel trims. Does anyone still run a Maestro in this spec, and can anyone point me at a pic of the correct trims please? TIA

Thanks; not cheesegraters (!) and not like the other pics either, no MG badge, in fact the nearest is the ones on the Monty at the top of the page - I suspected they are Halfords or similar, and think you've maybe just confirmed it.

These? They're rover ones post '88 I think so if you've got those they won't be original.

Nope, not those either. The inside just says Avio 14" so I'm now convinced they are aftermarket cr@p and will be binned. Anyone want a pristine red steel wheel or any other parts?

I saw a Mini with wheels that had a red rim around the silver centre bit last night. Does that sound about right (apart from the wheel size)?

I just happen to have a genuine rover plastic wheel cover from my monty estate sat by the back door, it has all the usual autin/rover type part numbers, says a lot more than above, even has one of those production month boxes.
