Might have found an alternative end link bush IF it fits.
Anyone know the a/roll bar diameter at the end where the bush fits?
I can go and crawl under one of my Montys but it's dark and cold.
Could be worth your while - although it will be a miracle if the dia is the same as the link I have in mind (cool looking, available and MUCH cheaper than a heath robinson Monty Maesty link)

Right. Thanks, keep your fingers crossed. The link in question probably too small 'but' you never know.
The part/bush where the bar goes through is a lot less wider but the bolt part that goes through the lower arm has bushes either side to prevent noise.
Be a miracle if it was 15mm dia hole, but if it is and did fit I bet there will a long queue of buyers as this part is not dear!

Looks good when you first look at it but take care! Be aware that the rubber is in the centre of the lower bush for a reason. when the arm moves the antiroll bar doesn't move parallel to the suspension arm, i.e. you need some movement there otherwise it'll either snap or snap the anti-roll bar. When you look under the car and jack that wheel up and down it'll make more sense! It may be that there is enough give in the rubber bushes on the top but worth checking just to be sure.
However you have just given me another idea... Hmm I wonder.........

15mm
I don't think thats right.
IIRC there are 2 sizes/thicknesses (typo?)
The MG,Turbo and the Diesel's etc had the thicker version and the 1.6 and 1.3 (where fitted) had the thinner one.
I used to think that the thicker one was 21mm and the thinner one 19mm. But I have just been out to measure the one on my (Diesel) van and its 23.33mm. I think the .33 maybe where the paint/powder coating has come of and is now slightly rusty?

Is this the diameter though 'where' it goes through the bush itself?
The 'main' part of the bar might be 20 odd mm but it's at the ends.
Update. Just crawled under car, the part that goes through bush is narrower dia. Looking at link I don't think the ones I am looking to get will be strong enough (they are VW Golf by the way!). Pity they were only 6.99 a pair!! - see ebay link anyone wants to chance buying a pair to see.

The MG 'M' Group has got a quote on getting these remanufactured.
If there is the interest in this offer, then the club will get them made up.

I think I misunderstood/didn't read your post correctly in the first place.
The end of the anti-roll bar where the bush fits over is indeed 15mm, the rest of the bar is larger in diameter. :o
