I've noticed several people wanting drivers door handles. I haven't got any to spare, but thought this repair might help. The internal lip usually wears off, causing the handle to break away from the axle when you pull it. But if you drill a hole in the handle you can pass a plastic tie tag through it and around the axle fastened to the door (all from the outside without taking the door panel off) This 5 minute repair (with a bit of silicone aerosol can lubricant if you have any) has lasted mine for several years and still works as well as the original - photo attached.

Cheers, Peter. That's an awful lot better than not having a door handle, isn't it?!

Top marks for that solution! Doesn't look too bad at all...and a quick fix if you don't have any spare steel ones (Which also have a nasty habbit of breaking off!).
