I have just learned that ppl are modifing their TDi's with propane gas injection / bigger turbo's etc etc

surely the extra heat would melt the pistons as the engines run hot anyway?
interesting tho' very tempting especially on an old maestro derv====

If you do it wrong yes, however good power increases are available. The engine I've just taken out of my van is around about 100-110bhp I think. The L series which is the newer brother of the prima is upto around 160bhp on standard internals.
