Is it possible to remove the EGR system and just blank it off. Have done it on my disco and the results were very good?
What else can be done to improve power, I have already adjusted boost to 1.1 bar.
Does the MG turbo exhaust fit the diesel as i would like to make it either straight thru or at least big bore...
Cheers

Yep,
Get rid of it and blank the hole.
many of the TD/D owners on here have done it.
EGR's are a waste of time.

Removing the EGR gives no performance benefits if the EGR is working properly. To disable it remove the small black vacuum pipe to the EGR unit and plug the now danging vacuum pipe with a small bolt/screw.
Lots else to improve the power, have you tweaked the fuelling at all?
If you are near sheffield then pop by and I'll have a tinker and show you what to do.
MG Turbo has the same front and mid pipes as the diesel, it is just the backbox which is different.
I gave mine a mufflerectomy and now have a side exit exhaust with only a centrebox and it isn't unduely loud but does make a good performance difference.
