Weak Shocks?

Now. Im at another predicament.

After deciding to keep E958 ARR .. i thaught about where to put money on her.

Being the thinking type i was , im all set on engine work etc. But i may have another problem .

"flat out" my car sinks at the back end , and i get a very boat like motion on gear change.

shocks appear ok , usual tests carried out etc. wonder if the back ones are a bit weak ? again seem ok , just the boat motion a bit OTT .

cornering is fine , no other problems.

do D/tweeks to decent struts for the 1300 ?

or any other ideas?

Most likely just the soft springs. If the shocks provide efficient damping then they are doing their job. The pitch and yaw on cornering/acceleration are controlled by the spring rates.

After a year at college , youd think we had covered things thoroughly enough ?
