theres tow written above the small eyes at the rear.. but i thaught these wenrnt tow points on a maestro ?

i had a mate place a fiesta in a ditch a bit back , i pulled out using e958 , but i used the tow eye on the front - i didnt think the small eyes on the rear are that strong?

anchorage points.. ?

tie down points for use when the car is being transported.

I would guess that the race car would only ever be towed out of a ditch or something then put on the back of a flatbed...

It is recommended that you don't tow with the lashing eyes at the rear, but my Maestro has managed to tow a 2 tonne Saab across Scarborough after running out of fuel, and a Volvo 440 across Stockport for the same reason, with no problems at all (apart from some dented pride and a few funny looks ;))!!!
