I like this feature. It reassures me that I'm not the only one bored at work and logging in here every 10 minutes to see if there've been any new posts

I would be a bit more interesting if we knew who the 'Guests' were and ask them why they havent registered yet!
Its quite reassuring to know you arent the only saddo logged on at 8:00am!

The new forums are great, and the 'Currently Active Users' feature is very helpful.
There aren't many people on when I log on from school, though.

Logging on at work? Death By Bongo where I work! I don't log out after lunch, though, and will appear to be 'logged on' most weekday afternoons. The site appears to defy any of my employer's firewall classifications and I can, should I wish to, log on in 'core hours'... not that there is time for this, unfortunately, headless chickens have nothing on us!
An interesting feature though, and very interesting.

Perhaps 'Dedicated Enthusiast' would be a better way of describing those who spend a significant part of their day on these boards!
However, i am perfectly happy with 'Sad Git' - being one myself!
;)
no offence intended love to u all:D

its all very well being logged in for 5 hours, but how much of that time are you actually interacting with the forum? :)
If you see me online today, its likely to be because im hiding from the boss!

I am always reassured to see the same members currently active for much of the working day. I don't actually spend all day re-reading old threads, but keep the forums open to keep an eye out for new posts. Oh dear God, I need to get out more.

I noticed that when I started I had one star and was a new member and ever since posting 20 replies I have had two stars and I am classed as an Enthusiast!
Maestro committee members get 4 stars but no-one has three stars! Is there a stage at which Enthusiasts get three stars - perhaps by being logged on for 5 hours at work!?!

Will definitely be at Peterborough in August and probably at the MG M day in Coventry on July 6th for the reputedly superb autojumble.

Will also be going to both! Not sure with what, exactly, yet, though as the VP is a shed, the camper has no MOT and I can't get a new exhaust until 7th July, and the MG1600 still has a trashed bonnet and windscreen :(
