27th is the date for the October edition of the Kent meet. I hope this suits all. There seems to be a demand for another get together so here are the details of the venue for those who missed out last time or want to come again:-

Executive Motoring Services
2 Horsham Lane
Upchurch
Kent
ME9 7AL

Telephone: 01634 388999

From M25: Exit the M25 at Junction 2 (signposted Dover, Canterbury) and follow the A2 until it reaches the M2. When the road splits for the M2/A2 take the exit signposted A2 (Rochester and Strood). Follow the A2 all the way to through to Rainham High Street.

You will pass STS Tyre fitters on your right. Carry on past the Men Of Kent public house heading onto London Road. You will approach a junction with Green's of Rainham (Vauxhall dealers on your right) with MedwayAUTOS Fiat and a Texaco fuel forecourt. About 50 yards past there take the next left - Oak Lane (signposted Lower Halstow, Upchurch). Follow Oak Lane past the fields and golf course and when you pass a row of shops on your left (Co-Op being one of them) take the next left - Horsham Lane (with the St. Mary the Virgin church on the junction) and Executive Motoring Services joins onto the church.

From Gillingham: The easiest way we would recommend, would be to take the Lower Rainham Road (to skip the A2 and Rainham High Street), following it to the end, you will come to a mini-roundabout with the Three Sister's pub ahead and to your left. If you take the first exit and follow Horsham Lane for approximately 2 miles.

From Maidstone (M20): Travel along the A249 and take the exit for A2 (signposted Rainham). take the first exit on the roundabout onto the A2. When you approach the junction with the Mercedes Commercial centre on your left, turn right onto Oak Lane (signposted Upchurch, Lower Halstow). Follow Oak Lane past the fields and golf course and when you pass a row of shops on your left (Co-Op being one of them) take the next left - Horsham Lane (with the St. Mary the Virgin church on the junction) and Executive Motoring Services joins onto the church.

(I borrowed that from your website Ralph hope you don't mind....I know I should ask before doing so......sorry in advance )

SATURDAY - 27th October 2007 after 1pm to 1:30pm (please do not turn up before this as the garage doesn't close until 1pm....)

Unsure on what the competition will be for this month but Ralph and I are working on it nonetheless. I am thinking of a computer game race......fastest time around the circuit gets the points......I may work a way of getting 'additional points' during the game for targets to beat....

Hopefully will be able to do a photoshoot weather permitting as well....

MG Rover and X Power merchandise will also be available to buy, there is limited stocks of these products so once they are gone they are gone.

Hope to see you all soon and look forward to another good turn out.

Feel free to add your name to the list

Could you do short write ups and post some photos of these meets :) ?

I could quite fancy attending but I'm a bit over 200 miles away.

Just a slight ammendment to the start time of the meet. It is from 2pm onwards.
There is a pub just around the corner from us who said that they will probably serve food that evening if there are a few that require it.

Okay, we've organised with the pub around the corner, The Crown, for food to be available from around 5pm. They provide a good range of pub food (e.g. lasagne, baguettes, steak & chips, scampi & chips, sausage & mash) at reasonable prices.
