What should I do?
I'm currently the owner of E898 OEA, a blue 2.0 efi MG Maestro.
The problem is that I'm 18, and the 2.0 engine doesn't agree with any insurance companies. :(
I need a car for when I pass my driving test, but I can't really afford to spend much more than £200 on it, with a long MOT.
My Maestro is really neglected by me. I can't help it as I live more than 5 miles away from it and can't get to work on it. It hasn't been started in over 8 months, and the last time I saw it, I tried to treat the rust on the arches and tailgate with Hammerite Kurust. Don't know if its worked, but it did on my Dads Volvo 440.
Do I sell OEA and get a new car, or keep it and carry on cycling to college?
I don't really want to sell it, but its wasted on me in my opinion. If I did sell it, I'd rather it go to a club member wanting a bit of a project (doesn't need that much work), than go to a lout who'd trash and abuse it. Its only done 82k.
Help please....:(
