I've always wanted to know this in 2003 a neighbour bought a White Maestro he sold it last year it was reliable but it always had a throaty engine really he never used it much and over the years he had it the exhaust made like a pop pop pop noise is it both a shot engine and a throaty engine?

Probably bad timing and/or a holey exhaust.

Why?

It was the way he was driving it.
And he was a driving instructor.
