I had parcels to deliver first thing, so was a bit late getting there. I got to the Social club entrance at 12.30 and waited for two hours! D'oh! Was I too late or too early?:(

I did wonder where you were.. We all got there about 1:30, headed into the bar for a little drinkie then up for food at 2:30. There was quite a gang of us and a fair few tinsel dressed cars in the car park.
What social club enterence? There was a bar/resteraunt enterance and another one for the travel lodge. You were at the right place weren't you?
If you heard baloons deflating and rocketing around the place,, that will have been us.

Sorry you couldn't find us ATV, what a shame :( Some of us got a bit lost trying to find the pub because if you put the postcode into multimap.com it directs you to a Royal Mail sorting office on a business park, and the pub itself is set well back from the road and behind a hedge if you miss the sign!
Otherwise what a fantastic time we all had :D Lindsey put quite a bit of time and thought into organising the meal and chasing up orders etc. but it paid off and I can see this becoming another of those unmissable regular annual events now, so thanks Lindsey ;)
Quite an amusing variety of ways in which cars were decorated too, from tinsel, lights and scrolling signs to a minimalist touch of frost on the bonnet or simply being red! Apologies for the lack of quality pictures, guess who left his tripod at home.

I had a great time! it was good to see so many members there and to be able to chat, because at so many of the meets you dont really get the time to socialize:(
thanks to all who voted for MOL as best dressed,it may have been the christmas cards that swung the vote, but underhand tactics can work! and i promise that rudolf will get his antlers back.
I've never seen so many cleaning products at any one time! i still reckon your all trying to tell me something, once again many thanks!!

A little late now, I know... but after a cold and wet day messing with the car, this was the outcome...
