I'm thinking of converting my EFi to leccy windows during its upcoming resto. Seems a good a time as any to do it. I know all the wiring's there, including the plug behind the radio and I suspect the harnesses will be in the doors as well.

So, what do I need and has anyone got it all?

As I see it, I need a pair of window motors, a control box inc. switches and two grey blanking-plates to cover up the holes in the door-cards left by the window-winders. Anything else? Do the motors fit the same window-runners or are they different as well? Anything else?

It's plug in and play, at least it was with my 2.0i.
I've got a driver's side motor and two blanking plates, if you want to pm your address, I'll post them to you but you'll be in my debt forever and that might be a bitter pill to swallow:laugh:

I don't have personal vendettas, any help greatfully received. That would leave me needing just a passenger-side motor and a control box.

You have PM

I have a passenger side motor and a control box (without switches) in my front room that are 'in the way' according to my girlfriend :)

You're welcome to them for what I paid for them and postage

BenGMain, in theory I have been promised both the window and the control box by an enthusiast on MMM but I am waiting for him to come back to me with a final price. If that deal falls down, I'll be back in touch.
