Hi all,

As the post header says to introduce myself here, I thought I'd say "hi", and that it's a pleasure to be a member of this fine forum.

There's nothing interesting to say really, as I don't own a Maestro anymore, and probably won't again (boo-hoo!) It's nice to see such an active community, and long may it continue!

Regards,
Keith Adams

Is that the Official Keith Adams as in the Unofficial Austin-Rover Web Resource?

I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. This has been said elsewhere, but yours is a cracking website, full of very interesting information. I'm often to be found reading it when I should be doing work instead...

As far as I can see, the Maesty/Monty enthusiasm is still growing and many of us are instrumental in keeping some great examples on the road when they would have otherwise have been sent to meet their maker. Not always such an easy job when certain parts seem fairly intent on converting themselves to iron-oxide as quickly as possible!

Are you sure you're not going to own a Maestro again? They are *very* easy to pick up and not expensive. I always said I'd only have the one but now I seem to have two. Oops. :) And I still don't have a 2.0L EFi or Turbo so maybe one day it'll be three....

Hi Keith,

I think I'll give you an official welcome rather than telling you to you-know-what

Hi Keith!

Even if you can't have a Maestro, reading here will give you the impression of what you are missing...

Welcome to the club then :)

Just like most BL/ARG stuff then... And soooo tempting, and it is sooo hard to restrict oneself ;) Keith, there is a rare black MG waiting to be driven...

It happens... I know have a guessed 5% of Germany's Maestro poulation here :)

Cheers,

Alexander

Hello!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone... There is no rocket science behind the reasoning behind not getting another Maestro, other than the fact that my lovely missus had a bad experience in one, and won't countenance me having another.

Still, I reckon you can be into something without owning one... I mean I like Lamborghini Gallardos, but I'm not sure I can afford one :-D

Regards,
Keith

P.S., Thanks for the comments about the Unofficial A-R Resource: if you think it keeps you from your work, imagine what it does for me!!!!
