Maestro front car seat winder

Does anybody out there have a front car seat winder that adjusts the seat angle? The one of my MG snapped off last week!!! I got the blame even though the Missus did it!!

Yeah, I've got one on a scrap car - how does it come off?

There is a cover which pops off if you get a fine screw driver under it. Then it should just pull off. I'll have a look the the remaining good one tonight and let you know.

I just pull them off wholesale (carefully, though). There's a metal snap-ring that gives the plastic wheel the snap fit on the recline spigot. I've known the wheel to break here resulting in a wheel that falls off periodically. I know that SimonR has a spare one, I also have a spare.
