No its a RH thread on the front both sides.

I think I've got everything I need, driveshaft, new staked nut, 2 foot breaker bar, torque wrench and a 3 foot ish scaffold pole.

Are there any pitfalls I should look out for ?

Does your torque wrench go high enough, it's a bit heavy. Don't forget the split pin.
