A pair sold for £105 the other day on Ebay...!!!

New ones are rare but you should be able to find some good second hand ones..

Do you mean the end ones that mount onto the lower arms? If so I picked up a new pair from my rover dealer off the shelf a few months ago in new style rover packaging. About £30 the pair, including the mount/stud to fit to the lower arm. Bush already fitted into it.

Powerflex also do the end ones I belive.

You could try rimmer bros as they do mail order and are pretty helpful at getting parts.

mgdavid, I'm basing it on that I have a pair which will be fitted with all the others I have for the front end suspension when I replace my engine.

Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking?

Well I got them some time ago, two or so years back. Maria did a bulk club purchase of powerflex bushes for club members, I signed up to it and paid, then forgot all about it, then out of the blue they turned up! Therefore I have the whole set for a Maestro, which have been sat in the loft since I got them, haven't got round to fitting them yet. The set included a pair of front ARB bushes!

I forgot about them again when I was playing ARB bushes, and so bought the Rover ones and fitted them. I have never known a shortage of them, as I said, the dealer had them there on the shelf when I called in. Mind you that was 12 months ago, but still had the new style MG Rover packaging.

The polyflex ones are the bushes where they mount to the bottom of the chassis rather than the ones that go on the end of the bar I think.

I have just had conformation today from my dealer that they are now NLA,
and no one else makes em. :banghead:

Looks like it will be expensive ones from ebay or used ones if you can find em!.

There is always the possibility of reconditioning the old ones or even making new ones. They aren't exactly complicated bits of kit. My local motorfactor used to have them listed in one of his parts books as an aftermarket part so I'll see if they are still available.

does anybody know if there is any differance between saloon or van bushes cheers graeme56

Nope, no difference so long as they are late model ones. The really early ones had a thinner threaded part which was prone to shearing off so there aren't many of these left about.

Good Christ! Mine were £10.91 plus VAT each 30 months ago from Marshalls Rover Bedford. There is a set currently on ebay, and also a single one listed too.
