Im looking to transfer the front wheel bearing hubs from the city x to the vp monty.
Monty Vp is a two peice wheel bearing hub and the city x is a one peice wheel bearing hub and the vp has power steering. Can it be done?
Many Thanks Inadvance!

Yes, they should be a straight swap however unless you are desperate I wouldn't do it. The 2 piece bearings are rubbish and you'll be replacing them every 30k or less. The 1 piece ones were a lot better lasting more like 100k miles.

From racing experience, the two peice bearings are useless, they disintegrate and fall apart regularly, if out of choice use the single peice bearings.

I agree, for the cost of getting new bearings it isn't worth the work of fitting used ones because you'll be doing it again all too soon.
Have a look at the condition of the splines on the drive flanges while it's in your hand - I would fit them second hand as new ones are really expensive, but they can take ages to source so it is worth having some warning.
