Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement wheelbearing for my 1994 maestro turbo diesel

any companies that you reccomend where i can get one

im on a savage budget btw and ive already bought a complete hub assembly from a scrap car only to find that the bearing was fecked in that aswell.

Help required as car is in daily use

thanks

Plenty on ebay, buy one and take the hub to your local friendly garage to get the old one pressed out and new one pressed in. Then re-fit the hub yourself, by-far the cheapest option.

definately Ebay for the bearings; I got a pair for under £8 recently! And they are 'timiken' bearings! When I bought one previously from a motorfactors it cost £27 and that was about 5 years ago.

I've got removing the hub down to about 20 minutes; it's been on and off that many times. I've tried hitting it with a club hammer, sqeezing it in the vice, using the hub puller back to front but I cant remove the drive flange. I have a hub with a new bearing in so as to swap it over.

...gonna go see the local garage. Drive there, park up, remove hub and take it in......
