just wondering if anyone has had this fault my other mg turbos oil light stays on this only started after i jet washed it i suspect the oil pressure switch but when i throw it over the light goes out

Probably the switch. The oil pressure switch on the turbos controls the fuel pump so that if there is no oil pressure there is also no fuel pressure. To give fuel pressure when starting there is a relay that activated the pump when cranking I think. I'm not sure if this cuts out the oil light or not though. check the spade connector first of all as they come loose or even drop off sometimes. simply tightening it back up might cure the problem.

thanks for that i thought it cut out the fuel supply thats whats happening it runs for 30secs then cuts out will try a new switch :rolleyes:
