Sorry if this is really obvious or has been covered before but my rear metal bumper is now flakier than a leper with an itch.
My search for a replacement metal bumper has been in vain but there seem to be loads of plastic bumpers around.
Currently I am only looking for a rear bumper as the front one is pretty solid.
I think I can cope with the mismatch, I don't think many people would notice as my car is navy blue anyhow.

I am based near Halifax but would consider travelling about 100 miles for a metal bumper, else how do I fit a plastic one.

Thanks a lot

Can you not repair the existing bumper? Welding or fibreglass can sort out a multitude of sins. You could try club spares as the last ones I got were from Ledbury and the club got hold of all the old ledbury stock.

Plastic bumpers to fit (badly), but require modification as where they fit against the rear wheelarches is different on the plastic bumper cars. I'll see if I can find a link for a new bumper.

Sorry, no metal bumpers in the Ledbury stock :(

To repair the bumper looks like it will take more skill than I have. I would rather use metal than fibre glass in case I ever need the protection.
Any information on new/better replacement metal bumpers would be really good.

thanks

The back is not so easy as the valance is diffrent but you could trim the top of the plastic one until it fits.
The front is a case of swaping the lower front panel and the wings.
But as dan says, you could try repairing the steel ones you have.
