Hi,
I need to run a big fat wire into the car from the engine bay - which gromit would be the one to use? Would be nice to get to it from inside the car with the minimum of fuss!
Many thanks

I presume this is for an amplifier if it is that fat :D
IF so there is a huge unused grommet behind the washer fluid bottle. There are also a few more around this area that fit the bill. IF the cable isn't too thick then you can use the one that the main wiring loom passes through on the passenger side. They all drop down behind the glovebox in the car so getting to them afterwards isn't too much of a problem.

Cheers, will it be easiest to remove the glovebox?

You should not need to. If you open the glovebox, on the roof of it there is a panel that you can remove that will give one of your hands access to the area inside the dashboard. With the help of a friend you can feel around for the wire coming through the bulkhead.

If you pop it through the washer bottle grommet then if you look up from the passenger footwell (removing any soundproofing boards that are present) then you can see up to where the cable will be hanging down. The washer bottle one is pretty large so when it is removed you'll soon see the whole that is left (assuming that you do it in daylight).
