problem with my headlight

nearside headlight stopped working a couple of nights ago,on low beam , new bulb needed,
so puts a new bulb in tonight,still has the same fault(no low beam )
so swapped nearside for off side.
and it still does not work on low beam on the nearside. any ideas/thoughts?

If you've got a good spare indicator arm change it over, it might be the problem. I had similar but with high beam and a swop did the trick.
