Oooh I would be so tempted. Whereabouts in the country do you live?
Trouble is we already have 3 maestros in the house.

Are you able to put any piccies of the car up at all?

I am not sure about price, as its not often a rare example of an early maestro comes onto the market in top notch condition. Although I am sure someone else on here will be able to advise you.

My advice is just to make sure you sell it to a real enthusiast as it would be a shame for the car not be cared for and looked after.

I am sorry to hear about your grandad, I can sympathise as its not long ago that I lost my mother.

Does anyone on the forums live near enough to be able to go and take some pictures to post up? I don't suppose for one minute I can buy it myself, but I'm certainly interested to see it. It may even be a candidate for the Photographic Archive if it's in that good condition, but that would rely on Jonathan having the spare time...

I'll go anywhere... seem to end up in that area frequently anyway at the moment. This one does grab my attention as well worth a look.

Sounds like a fabulous Mark 1 Maesty. I would buy it like a shot if we didn't have three on the drive already (used to be four - I had to scrap my tired old 1.3L to make room for my housemate's new Renault). If it is as good as it sounds then it is definitely worth considering by a club member.

We have 7 in our household, although 2 are race cars, so they don't really count.

I like your way of thinking! - so does that mean you have room for two more 'real' cars???

I too can divide my number of cars into the ones registered and the ones not on the road. But they do consume the same amount of space... All in all I have :censored: cars...... and the Maestros starting to get a majority in between them....
