:banghead: hi im new on this forum any way id like to tell u somethink that happened to me selling my mg maestro 2.0i

i got a call from a guy from liverpool tuesday 21. i live in the midlands so he said it was to far to come so i thought i wont hear from him again then he rang today thursday he said all i want is the
interior which is good on my car for a f reg so he set off at 3 o,clock got to where i live about 8ish imeet him in a layby
he looked inside said he would have it and would follow me home
thats the last i seen of him:censored: he never rang back so he must have gone back, why i will never know lol:confused:

LOL, Some people are very strange. If you had his phone number, I'd ring him up and ask.

Out of interest you didn't drive too fast and he lost you on the way to yours?

We tried following a mini once in our Maestro, god knows what engine was hiding in it, but we struggled to keep up.

na wasant going to fast i i met him on a duel carriageway with few roundabouts i got past the first one looked round and he didant appear so he must of ziped round it and gone back on the motorway

but before that my wife rang him and said where are u he said at the local tesco which is about a mile down said duel carriageway
so off i went drove round even got a mate to come and help in his car but he wasant there lol :confused: he could have rang me if he wanted to find me must have wanted a showroom car for next to nowt lol he said he was building a mg turbo and only wanted the shell;
seats etc which are good for what i was selling it for i,d ripped my hand off lol so god only knows why he .went :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

That does seem a little strange. The mentality of some people can always be shocking, but this perhaps should be a warning to us all. When meeting up with people apparently interested in our cars, be careful! Keep your eyes and ears open, and be vigilant!
