Well, as you all may know, summer has finally had it for this year, and so has my project work in the garage. Oh how I wish I had a warm, well lit garage to do my work in, but all I have is a council garage that was built in the sixties and at the moment is getting very draughty:eek: and the council have the cheek to keep putting the rent up.
Oh well, time to start working on the interior bits indoors and look for that elusive engine.
There's a fellow member of the NSVA who lives a few miles away from me who has a big workshop, but it's filled with all his van projects.
Never mind!

Yes it is getting rather cold, and we haven't even begun to start on our car projects yet. (Too much house maintenance to do :rage: )

Makes me wonder if we should be selling a portable calor gas fire we have acquired. We could be using it in the garage to keep us warm :D :)

Yeah - I sympthise entirely!

Right now our landlord is building the best part of the Taj Muhal onto the side of our house so not only is the garage often unavailable, it's also bloody freezing because half of the roof is missing.

I've had to rely on the garage at my Parent's house for all the work on F153JUE which has the added bonus of having my father and all of his many tools close to hand!

I think it'll still be very cold this weekend when we drop the new engine in. New invention: thermal Latex gloves

What's the deal with your engine ATV? Old one Knacked or are you doing a 2.0L 16V Turbo conversion...? If you tried hard enough I'm sure you could get a nice Rover V8..?!

A friend and ex colleague from my apprenticeship days suggested I fit a V8 in, but I didn't want to chop the chassis about. Mind you, he's got a project going for a motorised barstool! He's already got a 900cc motorbike engine for it!
