Just thought I'd let any maesty and van owners know there are some cheap towbars on e-bay at the moment.

Can't vouch for the service yet as I've only just ordered mine, but they are cheaper than my usual source who are usually very reasonable (Towsure).

Mine arrived this morning (two days after I'd ordered it - can't fault them for delivery) Seems sturdy enough and all the wiring for twin electrics was there as I'd ordered.
Top stuff so far although I bet I'll have fun fitting it!
Towsure are a good company to deal with (and local for me too), and this company seem to be good too and even managed to beat them on price. £56.50 delivered and with twin electrics, towball, covers etc.

:)
Hi,
I recently enquired (and bought) about a Towbar on E-bay. The guy was advertising (NEW) one for £20.
I was after one for my van. I enquired but it turned out to be for a Hatch.
"But I've got one for a Van if you want one" the guy says.
Turns out that these guys are trailer/towbar specialists and have a load of old stock left.
They deliver too- any where in UK.
The owner was very helpfull.
So, I get a brand new tow bar for the Van- £20. Bargain!!
The company name is; T.Harris of Whepstead, based at Bury St.Edmunds
Tel. 01284 735279.
Very Impressed with the service.

Yes bargain indeed. Mine was 30 quid plus twin electrics and postage. Still a bargain in my books anyway :D (Most towbar places quote you a price for just the bar not the towball, electrics, etc. just something to bear in mind when comparing prices if you are ringing round
