View Full Version : Monty Front Seatbelts in a Maestro?

I've been offered a pair of brand new Monty front seatbelts for my Maestro and wondered if they'd be compatible.
I nearly bought some in Ledbury but the clasps were different (My maestro has a turf-spade shaped clasp, whereas Ledbury cars have rectangular ones with a hole in the end).
The ones I've been offered have the correct clasp, but are there any other differences E.g. length, attachment, etc...? Don't know if they were bought for a estate/saloon Monty, but it was circa 1988.
Thanks! :)

How come its a german keyboard??? You in Germany or something? :) :D
I was looking at seatbelts last night, as I recently bought some and wanted to see if they would fit.
From what i remember the montego ones have different part numbers if that helps.

Pre Oct 1988 Montego and pre 1993 Maestro seatbelts can be interchanged. The belts that Ledbury use are the same as post 1988 facelift montego's and as such need the different buckle that sprouts from that model's revised centre console behind the handbrake.
