How come if you go onto the "off topic " site and view the; Show us Your Maestro/Montego post, the symbol on the right has todays date (29/05/03) but it was last added to on the 25/05 by Maria?
Or am i just missing the really obvious?

It says the 29th on the right hand side of the screen as you look at the various Post Titles, but if you click onto the post (show us your maestro etc) the last post is dated 20/05/03 and is 3 pictures ?(2 of Maria's camper and one of her race car)

The new forum splits threads up into several pages when they pass a certain length (in number of posts, so far as I can tell). The thread to which you refer is now on its third page. Little numbers "1 2 3" at the top and bottom of the forum, and also next to the thread title in the index.
Alternatively click the light arrow on the grey background in the index to view the last post in the thread.

Hope this helps,

Peter

I think it's done by amount of space taken by posts rather than by number, but yes, each thread is split into pages to stop you having to scroll for an eternity to get anywhere.

The page numbers are listed after the topic title in the forum thread index, and are also above the "post new topic" and "post reply" buttons at the top of the page as well as just underneath the left hand side of the frame that the posts are in. As F60-OTF says, the "go to last unread post" feature is a very useful one. You can click either on the down arrow at the end of the thread title in the main index, or choose, say, "next thread" from the top of bottom of the posts frame and then click the arrow above the "post new topic" and "post reply" buttons.

This new forum software is very different to the old one, but when you get used to it, the extra functionality really is worth it.

Hope that helps :)
