"Classifieds"

Does anyone know what has happened to the "Classified" section?
If you try and post a new ad it comes up as "temporarily unavailable" and the same ads have been showing for some time.

I think it was because of sellers who put their emails in their ads getting hoax emails from con artists in Africa and the like, so it was pulled. Shame that, because I had a few bits I wanted to get shot of as well.

It was more a problem with people posting offensive messages there, presumably to annoy us all and get some kind of flame war going. This happened before and I don't really want to have to keep cleaning it up every few days. We do pass on IP addresses and all the evidence to the relevant ISPs when this sort of thing happens but whether they actually do anything about it is anyone's guess.

My aim is to work out some kind of system that only allows logged-in forum members to post new adverts but it's not proving easy to do. In the meantime, if there are any adverts that really can't wait send them to me by email and I'll add them manually.
