Buying monty turbo advice please!

Am looking at buying a monty turbo. My current car is a maestro 1.3lx so have some idea! Just wondered if there is anything particular I should look out for? I don't mind a bit of restoration in fact am expecting to have to do some! But what are the really pricey problems that should make me walk away?

Funny thing, but now I tend to find that M's in general tend to be either in excellent condition or totally shagged. Very little inbetween.
